Ricola Wille

I am an artist, maker, and designer living in New York City. 

I help create worlds and fabricate objects for visual presentations ranging from commercial merchandising experiences for PayPal and Nike, handcrafted displays for Saks Fifth Avenue and Tiffany & Co., and theatrical productions for The Public Theater; assisting in the design, creation, procurement, and management of various design elements in collaboration with producers, project managers, fabricators and designers from concept rendering/development through fabrication and installation. This work requires an ability to manage design processes and items from development through creation/procurement.

Having trained formally in both studio art and production design has made for an artistic rigor, rooted in processes of research and development, that allow for simultaneous artistic whimsy and an understanding of materiality, craft, structure, and utility. The end goal is not only to create something wonderful but to know that the processes behind it are sound, ensuring an intellectually captivating presentation as well as a visually stunning one.
